Rafael Nadal is back in competitive action at this weeks Montreal, Rogers Cup Championship. The Spaniard has been out of tennis since his fourth round defeat to Robin Soderling, at Roland Garros in May .
Nadal says that the tendinitis in his knee is not risky, “I can have some pain, but it is not a risk. I’m OK now,” said the 23 year old. He added that he hoped to play well in Montreal, but knows that it will be almost impossible to regain the title as he needs to get match fit.
Andy Murray has the chance to take the number two place from Nadal during this week in Canada, but he would have to win the Rogers Cup, or at least reach the semi finals if Nadal goes out earlier.
