Favourites Oxford University rowed to Thames victory in the 155th Boat Race, demonstrating immense power and domination over the Cambridge University eight in the closing stages.
With a finishing time of 17 minutes exactly, the dark blues didn’t break any records, but beat a broken Cambridge by three and a half lengths.

Lance Armstrong has crashed out of the Spanish Vuelta Castilla y Leon cycle race with a suspected collar bone fracture after being caught up an incident involving several riders with just 20km of the race to complete.
The American appeared in pain as he was taken by ambulance to nearby Valladolid and the University Clinic.

Dwain Chambers avoids IAAF Sanctions

After investigating Briton Dwain Chambers’ autobiography, the International Association of Athletics Federations have decided not to punish the sprinter for his controversial comments.
Chambers’ book, entitled ‘Race against Me’, detailed the doping programme that earned him his two-year ban after he tested positive for the banned substance THG in 2003.
