Unlike many of the sports stars that are nominated for the BBC prize, Jessica Ennis comes across as atrue personality and someone who enjoys what she does.

In this clip sponsors Aviva bring Ennis together with rugby stars Joe Worsley, Tom Varndell and Joe Simpson, along with the Wasps’s Strength and Conditioning coach Huw Davies, to compare each others training regimes and seeing the differences in training as part of a team over the more single minded approach.

The rugby players tried to teach Ennis how to kick a rugby ball amongst other things while the athlete put the lads through their paces with the shot put.

Three-time world champion and home favourite Andy Priaulx will be going for a repeat of his 2007 success as one of the most exciting racing series on four wheels comes to Brands Hatch in Kent. Chevrolet driver Robert Huff will also be flying the flag for Britain, while the title race continues as frontrunners Yvan Muller, Augusto Farfus and Gabriele Tarquini scrap for points.

And don’t forget about the first Formula 2 event to take place in the UK since the series was re-launched, which gets the green light in between the two WTCC races.
