The Belgian cyclist Frederiek Nolf has died in his sleep only hours after competing in the fourth stage of the Tour of Qatar. Nolf who was just 21 years old was not known to suffer from any health problems.
Out of respect the fifth stage of the Tour of Qatar which takes place today, will be shortened to 40kms and neutralised, meaning it will not be contested by the riders.
