Britain’s Andy Murray beat the current world number one in today’s ABN Ambro World tennis final in Rotterdam. Murray who has been tipped for a grand slam win this year by both Nadal and Roger Federer, got his tenth title under his belt beating Spain’s Rafa Nadal 6-3 4-6 6-0.
Murray looked in fantastic form taking the first set, but Nadal came back into the game in the second set, despite picking up an injury early on in the set. By the third set Nadal could offer little resistance and Murray cruised through the set to put Nadal out of his misery.
Murray will now take a break before his next appearance on the circuit in Dubai.
