Andy Murray breezed past world number two Roger Federer in the Indian Wells semi final match with an awesome display of tennis, winning the game 6-3, 4-6, 6-1.
The only concern for the young Scot going into the final was an injury he picked up in the third set when he slipped over. Murray said that it had been sore for a couple of points and then was fine, but he would have to assess it later.
Murray will play world number one Rafa Nadal in today’s final, a mouth watering prospect with both players appearing to be in top form, the stage is set for another classic. Nadal took just two sets to demolish a resurgent Andy Roddick, winning the game 6-4, 7-6 (7-4).
